Going to the Retirement Home

After a fantastic year of learning
we had to share with others!

We did our group John 1:1-7 recitation,
John 1 Latin song, the class presentations and
our final group Orchestra Song.
Then we visited with the residents.

The residents were a great audience
and were willing to talk with the students.

See all those smiling faces!

CCGP 2011-2012 Closing Program

We had a wonderful evening with family and friends seeing a slice of what the students have learned over our 24 weeks together. Each class did a presentation of something or a couple of things that they enjoyed. It was amazing and entertaining!

Three students were awarded Memory Master - they memorized all the grammar (over 400 pieces of information) from Math, English, Science, History, Latin, Scripture & Geography! Congratulations!

We ended the program with a slide show of our year. Then we had some refreshments and participated with our ancestors in U.S. history by doing some folk dancing of the 17th century. It truly was a celebration to remember!

We were reminded from one of our dads that with
Christ going before us and His Holy Spirit
in us we are equipped to change the planet!

I was enjoying the Abecedarians presentation so much I only remembered to take a picture at the end when they were huddling up for prayer. It was a kick to see them at one point throw off the wigs they were wearing at just the right time in their song.

One of the Apprentice classes with their signs.
I didn't get a picture of our other Apprentice class -
I think they were the ones who threw the
tea bags (tea party) - so fun!

Journeymen class with their props and motions!

Masters class rocks out!

The Essentials class doing their Jeopardy game -
it was a tie between the guys and girls!
